Anyone who has ever watched a birth knows that at the beginning it's not a particularly pretty sight. The person giving birth is experiencing a large amount of discomfort physically. They get into the mode of feeling moody and/or want to be alone or try to cling onto others to help them through their pain. They can feel that their body and life is going through a transformation of some sort. During the actual birthing process; there can be struggles, anxiety, worry, frustration, etc.. Someone who does not know what to expect, can go through many different emotions. Ups and downs.
I have recently experienced such type of transformation going on in my life, a re-birth of some sort. Like many others before me, I saw the pain and did not recognize that I was going through such a re-birth. I stayed in the mode of being moody, feeling the discomfort all around while I was bucking the Universal Consciousness instead of going with the flow and allowing.
God (Universal Consciousness) knows how to handle everything. As stated in A Course in Miracles, "If you knew who walks beside you on this path that you have chosen, fear would be impossible". If we only know and recognize it when it is approaching and do not go into panic mode, everything will work out OK. Yeah, I know, some days it seems like the end of the world and everything goes wrong, emotions run strong and you feel like no one is on your side, but tomorrow is another day. With God walking beside you and you letting God into your world and onto your path, you can experience a special kind of re-birth. A re-birth without pain, without anxiety, without worry and frustration.Do I still understand what is happening on my path at this time? No, not really. I have turned it over to God to handle and recognize it as a re-birth. I am headed out the birth canal, but not struggling anymore. Going to flow with the amniotic fluid of life and wait for the light on the other side to see what's been created. As long as Universal Consciousness is with me, I know it has to be something beautiful.
