Have you ever been going along living your life and all of the sudden, apparently out of no where (or so it seems), you have a curve ball thrown your way? The universal energies or your own soul decides that it is time for you to change your ways. A person may come into your life or an event may happen? The person may play a significant role to wake you up to re-evaluate your present situation. An event may happen that makes you stop and think about who you are and where your life is going. These significant people or events could bring about good feelings as well as uncomfortable ones. It is your soul's way of telling you to take a closer look. It tells you that there is more to life. More challenges, more gifts, more fun, more of pushing yourself to be all you are here to be. After all, life should always be looked at for its possibilities and not its challenges.
In order for your life to change, you have to be willing to go through the steps to change it. Some parts of this process may be uncomfortable, even painful. You will be subjecting yourself to look inside your own heart and sometimes into the hearts of others. You may have to pull some chords that are binding you to your past, keeping you from changing for your highest good. We all get into our own comfort zones where we remain for as long as our souls will let us. Then, suddenly and usually without any warnings; we find ourselves in situations where we are asking questions about our lives, our path we are currently on and whether we are making the best decisions by staying in our present circumstances.
A lot of us may be attracting the same situation over and over again. The reason it continues to come up is that we react to it the same way over and over again. We are not really seeing it for the illusion that it is. All problems or obstacles are merely illusions we create as a way to grow. They seem to be so overwhelming at the time we are going through them. When we learn to step outside ourselves and see the curve ball coming at us, we can observe it for what it is and change our response to it. When we let go of the emotional attachment to the situation, we can view it in a different way. We are no longer reacting to something out of our comfort zone, but responding to the situation at hand. When we respond to it with an open heart, an open mind and feeling the direct connection to our Source, we can catch the curve ball and move on. We're ready to go to bat with a clearer view of the playing field. We can feel that the path we're on is easier to walk and we may even feel like skipping!
